Mommy’s little helper…

So today I had my dad and brother coming over. And wanting to impress them with my cleaning skills, I dug out the good old vacuum cleaner, and was all set to impress.

But then somebody totally stole the spotlight…

I have to say -- I now feel much more optimistic about the state of our house when I’ll have two of them…

And as for dinner, it was pretty easy. Cause surprisingly enough, out of my entire cooking menu my family is in total awe over a simple chicken stir-fry. Which I naturally made for them. It was accompanied by some cauliflower mix (courtesy my dad) and coleslaw (courtesy my dad and the food processor). I love easy-maintenance guests :-)

Now if I could only get my son to do the dishes…

Ah, kids...great for manual labor! Good to see you've put him to work.

Earn your keep, little perfect Gerber baby! That smile alone won't get you through life...except, uh, if you meet the right woman, maybe...

Looking at your pics reminds me of the amazing Shark steam cleaner I just purchased. It is so awesome! I can't wait until I have my own little brood to power it. ;)

Getting your son to do dishes would be key!

Cute pictures of your little helper :) Good luck on the Stuffed Peppers, they are pretty easy to make once you have the process down.

I'm a 29 year old mom of two! A toddler (kiddo one) and a new baby (kiddo junior). I am also the most horrible (as in I barely ever do it) cook that I have met in my life. This blog is a diary of my attempts to feed my hungry growing family

PS: My name is not actually Vasilisa... But I find that honest reporting comes easier when there is a shred of anonymity. (Apparently, posting pics of my sons doesn't count...)

PPS: For those of you wondering where on the planet I am: I'm cosily tacked away in the Torontonian suburbia of the Great White North (Canada).

The Beginnings

What is all this?

To music, naturally.

All kinds of books. Haven't figured out how to post links to them yet.
