am being bad...

I’m a horrible mother/wife/cook etc… Feeling guilty… Cause no cooking happened again…

Instead it was grandparents', pizza and this:

But it is Friday night, right? So it’s ok, right?

Please say it is, or I’ll have to crawl under my blanky and feel all bad and sorry for myself…

That dessert looks like heaven to me!
Can I have some?

You're not a bad mommy. In fact, I think dessert should always be eaten first. Otherwise, you might not have room for it after dinner. I hate it when that happens. I don't understand why my wife isn't the same way.

Foodie's hope: Thanks :-)... I wish it was just one day... But it seems to be a pattern :-(

Samuru999: The cake was amazing! I couldn't resist it if I tried... :-)

Daddy Forever: Wives tend to be that way :-) The dessert is important. I agree. But it's not helping my home cooking track record... Maybe if I start baking cakes?

I'm a 29 year old mom of two! A toddler (kiddo one) and a new baby (kiddo junior). I am also the most horrible (as in I barely ever do it) cook that I have met in my life. This blog is a diary of my attempts to feed my hungry growing family

PS: My name is not actually Vasilisa... But I find that honest reporting comes easier when there is a shred of anonymity. (Apparently, posting pics of my sons doesn't count...)

PPS: For those of you wondering where on the planet I am: I'm cosily tacked away in the Torontonian suburbia of the Great White North (Canada).

The Beginnings

What is all this?

To music, naturally.

All kinds of books. Haven't figured out how to post links to them yet.
